Equine-Assisted Sessions for Children

Horses can offer children a unique space where they can simply be themselves, without pressure or judgement.

Equine-assisted sessions can be particularly supportive for children who lack confidence, find it difficult to express how they feel, experience difficulties with attention or concentration, or are going through a challenging time. They can also provide a calm and supportive environment for highly sensitive, autistic children or children with attention difficulties, always respecting each child's individual needs, boundaries and pace.

With horses, words are not always necessary. Children can take their time to observe, connect, feel and interact in their own way. Being with a horse naturally encourages them to be present in the moment. This relationship can help children build confidence, become more aware of their emotions, develop their ability to focus and discover new ways of communicating and connecting with others.

Sessions are calm and adapted to each individual child. Depending on what feels right for them, we might simply spend time with the horses, observe them, groom them, walk alongside them or explore different activities together on the ground.

There is nothing to achieve and nothing to prove. What matters is that the child feels accepted as they are and has the space to develop at their own pace.

No previous experience with horses is needed. All sessions take place on the ground, with respect for both the child and the horses.
